According to Billboard.com, we can expect Lady Gaga's next album to appear on shelves in 2011. The pop star's producer has assured fans that they will not be disappointed, noting that it will be "shocking, shocking, shocking!" RedOne made it clear that part of his role as her producer centers around the evolution of her style as an artist.
He said, "When you heard 'Bad Romance' after 'Poker Face,' it was like the best thing you've ever heard. We want that type of reaction. I think that's part of my job and her job - to keep evolving." He also confessed that he has worked on at least two tracks from Gaga's new album, but hinted that the pop star has also collaborated with a variety of other big names, though he wouldn't elaborate who. Fans will just have to wait and see once the new album become available. In the meantime, Lady Gaga tickets are now available on StubHub for purchase.
In other recent Lady Gaga news, the Monster Ball singer was in San Jose at the HP Pavilion recently and as usual, delivered a rousing performance, which kept fans on their feet throughout the entire event. And in true Gaga style, she changed outfits on several occasions, with each new costume more bizarre than the previous one. She played a string of hits like "Paparazzi," "Bad Romance," "Just Dance" and "Telephone."
Theatrical dance pop performer Lady Gaga received international attention with her debut single "Just Dance" in 2008 and ever since then she's been on the ground running. She's never been one to shy away from the shock value and has said that two of her greatest influences in the music business have been Freddy Mercury and David Bowie.
Initially she found an attentive audience on the Manhattan club scene where she started her own show called Lady Gaga and the Starlight Revue. The re-occurring performance soon caught the attention of industry professionals and Lady Gaga earned a record contract and starting working on her own material. "Just Dance" preceded her debut album, The Fame, which dropped in August 2008. "Just Dance" won a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart and ultimately it climbed all the way to the number one spot. Other singles from the album included "Poker Face," "LoveGame" and "Paparazzi."
Gaga followed up her initial album with the follow-up The Fame Monster, which was issued in the fall of 2009. The leadoff single for the record, "Bad Romance," immediately made it into the Top 10, while other tracks also became popular like "Dance in the Dark" and Telephone."
These days, it only seems natural that Lady Gaga would find herself on top of the charts, which is what fans are expecting when her next album drops. And Lady Gaga is preparing to shock fans again with her brand new material. Of course at this point, Gaga's eccentric style seems almost normal, so just how shocked will we be?
